The town of Fasnia is on a valley setting. It is situated in the southeastern part of the island and extends 45.1 square kilometers (0.4 square miles) from the mountainous interior to the beaches on the Atlantic Ocean. Its estimated population is 2,641.
Fasnia is linked to the superhighway and has an interchange nearby. It is also linked with the old highway linking Arona and Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Fasnia is also a suburb of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and is one of the southernmost.
Agriculture and tourism dominate its economy while urban areas and some farmlands occupy much of the coastline and valley areas. The town is teeming with mountains as well.
