Guía de Ísora

Situated in the western part and north of the Tenerife Sur suburb is Guia de Isora. It is 90 km SW either way of the island's capital, NW of Los Cristianos and about 20 to 25 km NW of the international airport.

It has a population of 17,163, an area density of 119.67/km² and occupying 143.42 km² (some read 143.82 km²). The town’s elevation stands at 580 m.

Guía de Isora is north of the superhighway terminus and is passed with another highway in the east. There are valley areas while forests and grasslands are situated within Mount Teide.

Business, tourism and agriculture dominated its economy until the 1990s, when agriculture became the dominant industry in Adeje. As such, majority of the population are also rural.
