The Plaza del Doctor Victor Perez is a quiet little garden lined with palm trees. The Calle de Quintana connects this plaza with the plaza major, Plaza del Charco. The garden was constructed and named in honor of a local doctor, Victor Perez, in 1904. The plaza major itself also makes a quaint little park.
Further up the Calle de Quintana, one will find the Parque de San Francisco. This is where most of the town's cultural events take place. It was the site of a Franciscan convent which burned down in 1967.
