Museum La Casa de Los Balcones

Notes: The House of Balconies is a house that was built in the 17 th century. It has been fully renovated and recreated in the style and fashion of the era and converted into a museum. Aside from the authentic furniture, kitchenware, and facilities, there is also an old wine press. A walk through the antique halls and rooms gives one a delightful feel and taste of life in the 17 th century Canary Islands.
Museo de Artesania Iberoamericana
Address: C/ Tomas Zerolo No. 34, La Orotava.
Notes: The museum is housed in an old convent dedicated to San Benito Abbot which was built in the 17 th century. Together with a nearby temple to Santo Domingo and the house of Torrehermosa, they constitute a beautiful model of 17 th century architecture. The museum has on display various collections of crafts and antiques.

Casa Torrehermosa
Address: Tomas Zerolo, La Orotava.
Notes: This is another 17 th century house that has been converted into a museum. It takes its name from the former Marquis of Torrehermosa but is also sometimes known as Casa Mesa. The house hosts the Empresa Insular de Artesania, an exhibit of crafts from all over the Canary Islands.

Notes: Another 17 th century house that has been converted into a museum. The museum houses an extensive collection of various types and works of pottery. Visitors get to see potters at work.
Ethnographic Museum of Pinolere

Notes: This museum is set above La Orotava, up in the hills in the district of Pinolere. The exhibition shows different aspects of life in the La Orotava Valley.
