La Laguna's most notable theater house is the Teatro Leal , along Obispo Rey Redondo street. It was constructed in 1915 by D. Antonio Leal, with plans drawn by the architect Antonio Pintor. Like other prominent buildings in La Laguna, the Teatro Leal exhibits a mix of styles: the external facade is richly adorned with floral elements, and animal and human images created by Lopez Ruiz, while the interior is decorated with murals and various other artwork
