- Know the different places of the island for, according to the kind of tourism you want to do, choose one or the other. It’s important not forget the north is more native and the south is more destined and adapted to the tourism.
- Search hotels, hostels or camping, look up the different prices, the varied activities they offer to the visitant, the services they have… according to your needed and the different objectives you have for your holidays.
- Tenerife has spring weather during all the year, so the kind of clothes you may wear it’s always the same: summer clothes, maybe a jacket if you go from November to March, and sandals. It’s almost summer during twelve months.
- Search different kind of maps: road map and cities map before you arrive at the island. Just to arrive at the hotel it may be useful, and if you Car hire Tenerife (option almost obligatory) the road map will be a must for you.
- It depends on you to choose when you want to go to Tenerife island: during the summer most tourists are enjoying the holidays, but in winter there are many people also having a great time.
- When you choose a flight you have to be sure of the airport you are arriving to. If you have reserved a hotel on the north, it will be great if you can land on in the Tenerife North Airport. Although there is a short distance between the north and the south, it is much better if you arrive the closest you can to your hotel.
- You can go by boat also, but you have to know it’s much umconfortable for people because it’s much longer but, if you love the sea and you don’t care about travelling by boat it could be a great option and a different trip.

- It is better if you don’t drink water from the faucet, you may drink always mineral water, it will be better for you and it will more difficult to you getting sick because of this.

Although you can rent a car, it makes you things much easier because you just depend on you, not timetables. You can rent a motorcycle or a bicycle to move also.
- You must pay attention to the sun. Protection is so important for your skin.
- If you have any health problem, you can go to any of the hospitals there are at the island. They will care of you.
- You have lots of different banks to take money, so you don’t have to take so many cash in the travel.
- Once you have arrived to the island, you can know the other just by taking one of the different excursions there are to visit them.
- People from Tenerife are so friendly, so you may not have any problem to talk with them and know more about their culture.
- The media are the same as in Spain. They have the same channels at the TV and radio, so you won’t have any problem to watch what ever you want.
- Emergency telephone is 091. If you have any problem, you can phone there and they will give s solution.
- Life in Tenerife is so easy. People are not used to do so many things in one day, so life is so quite over there.
